Writer Padmabhushan grosses Rs 1.54 crores on day one

Writer Padmabhushan, the film starring Suhas in the lead role, has grossed Rs 1.54 crores at the global box office on day one, the makers announced on Saturday. The film has been receiving positive responses from the audiences.

The film also stars Ashish Vidyarthi and Rohini Molleti playing his parents and newcomer Tina Shilparaj playing his romantic interest. Writer Padmabhushan revolves around Bhushan, a young bibliophile, and librarian from Vijayawada, whose literary aspirations to write 'The great Telugu novel' fails when his self-published book finds zero takers. 

Writer Padmabhushan is written and directed by Shanmukha Prashanth and co-produced by Chandru Manohar (Lahari Films), Anurag Reddy and Sharath Chandra (Chai Bisket Films). The music of the film has been composed by Shekhar Chandra and Kalyan Malik, with cinematography by Venkat R Shakamuri and editing by Kodati Pavan Kalyan and Siddharth Thatolu.
