Chiranjeevi wishes Brahmanandam on his birthday

Abhilasha Cherukuri

Actor Chiranjeevi, who was last seen in Waltair Veerayya, wished legendary comedian Brahmanandam for his birthday. Chiranjeevi took to Twitter to share photos of himself with Brahmanandam and his family, at his residence, along with his greetings. The actor is also seen gifting a bouquet and a statue of Sri Venkateshwara to the legendary comedian.

In addition to sharing pictures of the interaction, Chiranjeevi penned a heartfelt note in Telugu, talking about Brahmanandam's journey in acting.

He wrote, “The Brahmanandam I knew back then was a humble lecturer from Attili. Today, he is a prolific actor, a recipient of a record from the Guinness Book of World Records, and a great comic actor. He is the living embodiment of comedy. He does not need to ‘do’ comedy. One look at his face is enough to elicit laughter and will tickle people till their stomachs hurt. I am hoping, from the bottom of my heart, that he continues to laugh, he continues to make others laugh, I hope he lives greatly and has a great future and on this note, I wish him a very Happy Birthday.”

Brahmanandam, who was seen last year in the anthology film Panchatantram, will be seen in Krishna Vamsi’s upcoming directorial Rangamarthanda, the official Telugu remake of the Marathi film Natsamrat (2016), alongside Prakash Raj.
