The makers of Guntur Kaaram have unveiled a special dance number titled Kurchi Madathapetti from the film. It is the third song they have unveiled so far, after Dum Masala and Oh My Baby. The song features actors Mahesh Babu and Sreeleela dancing. Kurchi Madathapetti is composed by Thaman and sung by Sri Krishna and Sahithi Chaganti. The lyrics of the song have been provided by Ramajogeshwara Sastry. 

Guntur Kaaram is scheduled to hit theatres on January 12, 2024. The film will be releasing in the Sankranti festival window, along with Venkatesh’s Saindhav, Ravi Teja's Eagle, Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga and Teja Sajja’s Hanu Man. 

Guntur Kaaram also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary. Pooja Hegde was earlier supposed to work in the film. She has left the project citing scheduling issues, following which Sreeleela, who was the film's second female lead back then, was recast as the primary female lead. Meenakshi was roped in later, to play the film's second female lead. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan in a crucial role. 

Guntur Kaaram is written and directed by Trivikram, and produced by his home banner Sithara Entertainments' and Fortune Four Cinemas. Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer of Guntur Kaaram, with editing by Navin Nooli and production design by AS Prakash.
