A day ahead of the release of the much-anticipated film Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire, directed by Prashanth Neel, the makers released the second single Prathikadalo from the film which stars Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles.
The song has also been released as Qisson Mein in Hindi, Prathikatheya in Kannada, Prathikaramo in Malayalam and Pala Kadhaiyill in Tamil. The music for the film is composed by Ravi Basrur.
Recently, the makers released the trailer for the film which showcases fascinating characters and the imminent chaos that is about to unfold. The trailer concludes with a voice-over that says, "The story of Khansar took a dramatic turn when two best friends became each other's biggest rivals."
The film also stars Shruti Haasan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, Ramachandra Raju, Garuda Ram, and Tinnu Anand, among others.
Salaar: Part 1- Ceasefire is a Kannada-Telugu bilingual, with simultaneous releases in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam as well. Ravi Basrur composed the film's music, with cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni and production design by Shivakumar and TL Venkatachalapathi.
