Salaar, the upcoming pan-Indian film starring Prabhas in the lead role, has been censored with an A certificate, the makers of the film announced.

The film is gearing up for its release on December 22 in five languages, including Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

Directed by Prasanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films, the film also stars Prithiviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan,  Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, Madhu Guruswamy, Ramachandra Raju, Garuda Ram and Tinnu Anand, among others.

Ravi Basrur has composed the film's music, with cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni and production design by Shivakumar and TL Venkatachalapathi.
