Ms Shetty Mr Polishetty (MSMP), an upcoming romantic comedy film starring Naveen Polishetty and Anushka Shetty has wrapped its censor formalities. The film has been certified with a U/A certificate.

MSMP, previously scheduled on August 4, has moved it's release date to September 7, on Janmashtami. MSMP marks Naveen's return to screens two years after Jathi Ratnalu. Anushka, on the other hand, was last seen in the 2020 Prime Original film Nishabdam opposite R Madhavan.

MSMP is written and directed by newcomer Mahesh Babu P and produced by Vamsi and Pramod under the banner UV Creations. UV Creations is working next on a film with Kartikeya Gummakonda, in addition to co-producing a Nikhil Siddhartha starrer along with Ram Charan. 

MSMP is a love story between a stand up comic, played by Naveen, and a chef, played by Anushka. Things get messy when the latter asks the former to be a donor for artificial insemination. Radhan is the music director of MSMP, with cinematography by Nirav Shah, editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and production design by Rajeevan Nambiar.
