The official teaser of MAD, stylised as #MAD, has been unveiled on Thursday morning. The film is written and directed by Kalyan Shankar.

MAD is the maiden film of producer Haarika Suryadevara, the younger sister of Suryadevara Naga Vamsi. The film is produced by Sithara Entertainments, in association with Fortune Four Cinemas. MAD stars Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shoban, Ram Nithin, Gouri Priya Reddy, Anananthika Sanil Kumar and Gopikaa Udyan. Character actors like Raghu Babu, Muralidhar Goud, Vishnu, Anthony and Srikanth Reddy form a part of the film's supporting cast. 

The one and half minute long film teaser shows that MAD is set in an engineering college and revolves around the antics of the students there, primarily the boys, who get a kick out of torturing the hostel warden. The film is a comedy, with some profanity laden dialogues. 

MAD is co-written by Praveen Pattu and Pranay Rao Takkallapalli. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Shamdat Sainudeen and Dinesh Krishnan B and editing by Navin Nooli. Raam Arasavilli is the art director of the film, with action choreography by Karunakar. The makers are yet to announce the release date of the film.
