Tiger Nageshwara Rao Teaser Out

Ravi Teja plays the eponymous, infamous thief in the film

The official teaser of Tiger Nageshwara Rao was unveiled by the makers of the film on Thursday. Ravi Teja is headlining the Vamsee directorial. Vamsee has previously directed the film Kittu Unnadu Jagratha. Srikanth Vissa, who has also written Kittu Unnadu Jagratha, has penned the dialogues of Tiger Nageshwara Rao.

Nupur Sanon, the younger sister of actor Kriti Sanon, is the female lead of the film. She will be making her debut with Tiger Nageshwara Rao. Gayatri Bharadwaj, Renu Desai, Anupam Kher and Murali Sharma play important roles in the film.

With simultaneous releases in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi, Tiger Nageshwara Rao will be Ravi Teja's maiden pan-India release.

The film is based on a set of real-life events in 80s India, based on the life of Tiger Nageshwara Rao, a notorious thief from Stuartpuram in erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. A glimpse of the film, establishing the protagonist and his tiger-like qualities has been released earlier. 

The one and half minute long teaser introduces us to Tiger's character, through stories of his bravura and cruelty. We are introduced to the characters of Murali Sharma and Anupam Kher, who play the roles of government officers on the hunt for Tiger. There are also pacy cuts and high-octane action sequences before cutting to a singular visual of a menacing Ravi Teja. 

Tiger Nageshwara Rao is produced by Abhishek Aggarwal under the banner Abhishek Aggarwal Arts. GV Prakash Kumar is the music director of the film, with cinematography by R Madhie and production design by Avinash Kolla. Tiger Nageshwara Rao will be hitting theatres on October 20.
