The makers of Hostel Hudugaru Bekkagidare, a Kannada-language superhit comedy film, made an announcement recently about how they will be releasing their film in Telugu. The Telugu dubbed version of the film, which will be released on August 26, is titled Boys Hostel.

Boys Hostel is jointly presented by Supriya Yarlagadda, Sarath Chandra and Anurag Reddy under the banners Annapurna Studios and Chai Bisket Films respectively.

One of the highlights of Hostel Hudugaru Bekkagidare was the presence of actor Ramya, who plays the role of a teacher in the film. The character is also more or less the de facto representation of male fantasy throughout the film. According to our sources, Boys Hostel will have Rashmi Gautam reprising the role Ramya played in the original. Rashmi was last seen in a cameo role in Chiranjeevi's Bhola Shankar.

Hostel Hudugaru Bekkagiddare, presented by Rakshit Shetty's Paramvah Pictures, is written and directed by Nithin Krishnamurthy. He has also produced the film, which mostly features newcomers, in collaboration with Varun Gowda, Prajwal and cinematographer Arvind S Kashyap under the banners of Gulmohur Films and Varrun Studios.
