Samyuktha to star in Swayambhu

The film stars Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead

Samyuktha, who was recently seen in Sir and Virupaksha opposite Dhanush and Sai Dharam Tej respectively, will be featured next in Swayambhu, a historical drama. Swayambhu is written and directed by Bharat Krishnamachari. Vasudev Munnapaneni has penned the film's dialogues.

This will be the second time Samyuktha will be featuring in a historical drama. She has earlier played a small role in the Vasshishta directorial Bimbisara, opposite Kalyan Ram Nandamuri. Swayambhu is Nikhil's twentieth film. The project will be launched on August 18, with the shoot commencing sometime later this month. 


Swayambhu will see Nikhil undergo a complete makeover in this film, it is also incidentally his most high-budget project to date. The actor, who was last seen in the espionage thriller Spy, has also signed on The India House, a film set against the Indian diaspora in England during the time of World War 2. 


Swayambhu is produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under the banner Pixel Studios. Tagore Madhu is the presenter of the film. Ravi Basrur is composing music for Swayambhu, with cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa and production design by M Prabhakaran.
