We had earlier reported that actor Gopichand will be working next with Kannada director A Harsha for his 31st film titled Bhimaa. On Thursday morning, the makers of the film, through their social media handles, announced that actors Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malavika Sharma as the female leads opposite Gopichand.

The film's team has also announced that both female leads will be essaying roles of equal importance in the film. Bhimaa has already commenced principal production in Hyderabad. The film is billed to be a high-budget action entertainer. 

Bhimaa is produced by KK Radhamohan under the banner Sri Satya Sai Arts. Ravi Basrur is the music director of the film, with cinematography by Swamy J Gowda, editing by Kiran and production design by Ramana Vanka. Ajju Mahankali has penned the dialogues of the film, with action choreography by Ram-Lakshman, Venkat and Dr Ravi Varma. 

While Thiruchitrambalam-fame actor Priya Bhavani Shankar made her Telugu debut earlier this year with Kalyanam Kamaneeyam opposite Santosh Shoban, Malavika Sharma has previously acted in films like RED and Nela Ticket. Gopichand was last seen in the Sriwass' film Rama Banam.
