Following the release of a new poster on Wednesday morning, the makers of actor Mahesh Babu's upcoming film Guntur Kaaram unveiled a new poster in the evening. The day marked Mahesh Babu's 48 birthday. The new poster shows a headband-clad Mahesh Babu amid a set of goons. 

Guntur Kaaram is written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film marks Mahesh Babu's third collaboration with Trivikram after Athadu and Khaleja. 

Earlier, it was reported that Pooja Hegde would play the leading lady in the film. However, she opted out of the project, citing schedule conflicts, and later Sreeleela and Meenakshi Chaudhary roped in for pivotal roles. Ramya Krishnan is also playing an important role in the film. Thaman is the music director of Guntur Kaaram, with cinematography by PS Vinod, editing by Navin Nooli and production design by AS Prakash. 

Guntur Kaaram is scheduled to hit screens on January 12, 2024.
