On the occasion of Fahadh Faasil's birthday, the makers of Pushpa released the poster of the actor from the upcoming sequel of the film. The actor plays the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, a cop and the antagonist, in the Pushpa.

The poster shows a bald Fahadh as a menacing cop, as he holds a cigarette on his hand.

Pushpa-The Rule is the sequel to Pushpa-The Rise. The film, directed by Sukumar, has Allu Arjun play the lead role of red sanders smuggler. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The first part released in December 2021 and was period action drama.

It showed the rise of a labourer Pushpa Raj to becoming the head of a smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood. While the first part featured a cameo appearance by Fahadh Faasil, Pushpa: The Rule is expected to feature him in a full-fledged role.

A release date for the film is yet to be announced.
