Kushi, an upcoming romantic drama headlined by Vijay Devarakonda and Samantha, will have its trailer unveiled on August 9. Vijay Deverakonda has recently revealed on his social media that the trailer of Kushi has been cleared with a U certificate and that the trailer is two minutes, forty-one seconds long.

Kushi is written and directed by Shiva Nirvana, who has earlier helmed films like Ninnu Kori, Majili and Tuck Jagadish. 

It may be noted that the makers of Kushi never unveiled a teaser of the film first, which is the norm. So far, the makers of the film have released three singles of the film, namely Aaradhya, Kushi and Naa Roja Nuvve. The music of the film is composed by Hridayam-fame composer Hesham Abdul Wahab and the lyrics of all three songs that came out so far have been penned by the director Shiva Nirvana himself. 

Also starring Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Rohini Molleti, Lakshmi, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar and Saranya Pradeep in supporting roles, Kushi is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Murali G is the cinematographer of the film, with editing by Prawin Pudi and production design by Jayashree Lakshminarayan. 

Kushi is releasing on September 1 in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages, in addition to Telugu.
