First single from Skanda unveiled

Nee Chuttu Chuttu, the first single from Skanda, was unveiled on Thursday morning. Skanda stars Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela in the lead roles. The song, a peppy dance number shot in a pub, is sung by Sid Sriram and Sanjana Kalmanje. Thaman, who has recently composed music for the Pawan Kalyan starrer Bro, has composed the song, with lyrics by Raghuram. Nee Chuttu Chuttu is choreographed by Prem Rakshith. Skanda is scheduled for a theatrical release on September 15 in five languages, namely Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. In the Telugu states, Skanda will be releasing on the same day as Tillu Square, the sequel of DJ Tillu

Skanda is written and directed by Boyapati Sreenu and produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner Srinivasaa Silver Screen. The film is presented by Pavan Kumar under the banner Zee Studios. Skanda also stars Prince Cecil in an important negative role. Santosh Detake is the cinematographer of Skanda, with editing by Tammiraju and action choreography by Stun Siva.

Skanda is the first collaboration between director Boyapati Sreenu and actor Ram Pothineni. While the former's last directorial was the Balakrishna starrer Akhanda, the latter was seen in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual The Doctor, which was directed by Lingusamy.
