We had earlier reported that Malavika Mohanan will be playing the female lead in the upcoming Telugu film Raja Deluxe, starring Prabhas and directed by Maruthi. In a new update, Malavika will be joining the Hyderabad schedule of the film.

Expected to be a horror-comedy, the film will be an entertainer. Prabhas is speculated to play dual roles- one as the owner of an old cinema theatre and the other as a ghost. Raja Deluxe is expected to feature three leading ladies, including Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. However, much information on the rest of the cast and technical crew are yet to be announced officially.

Meanwhile, Malavika who was last seen in Malayalam film Christy, is also part of Thangalaan under Pa Ranjith's direction. The film also stars Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvottu and others.
