Keerthy Suresh expresses her adoration towards Silk Smitha

Keerthy Suresh's latest outing Dasara was released on Friday, and it has opened to good reviews. An important element in the film is the 'Sillku Baru' a resto-bar named after Silk Smitha, which happens to be the only bar in town. 

On Monday, Keerthy Suresh took to Twitter to share her adoration for the late actor. Sharing a photo in which she is seen imitating Silk's pose, she wrote, "Feeling it like Silk . Had to run and get this one clicked before the set was taken down! As you all know, I had nothing to do with Silku Baru." (sic)

Backed by Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, Dasara is directed by debutant Srikanth Odela. Dasara features Nani as the lead and Dheekshith Shetty, Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar and Zarina Wahab in pivotal roles. 

The film has music by Santhosh Narayanan, with Sathyan Sooryan ISC handling the cinematography. Navin Nooli is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Dasara. The film is set against the backdrop of coal mines in a fictional village called Veerapally in Telangana.
