God Father, the upcoming Telugu remake of Malayalam film Lucifer, has been censored with a U/A certificate. The film is set to release on October 5. 

God Father stars Chiranjeevi in the lead role, and is helmed by filmmaker Mohan Raja. The original film stars Mohanlal in the lead role, with Prithviraj directing. In the remake, while Chiranjeevi reprises Mohanlal's role, Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance that Prithviraj did in the original. The film also stars Nayanthara, Satya Dev, Sunil, Samuthirakani, among others. 

The film is backed by Super Good Films and Konidela Productions. While Nirav Shah has shot the film, the music is scored by S Thaman.
