Ori Devuda to feature Venkatesh Daggubati as god 

The upcoming film is Telugu remake of Tamil film Oh My Kadavule

The makers of Ori Devuda, the upcoming Telugu remake of Tamil film Oh My Kadavule, released a glimpse revealing that actor Venkatesh Daggubati will play the extended cameo role that Vijay Sethupathi did in the original version.

The film will release on October 21 for Diwali.  

The glimpse follows a fluttering butterfly and enters "love court".As the butterfly pastes itself on a book, it is taken by Venkatesh who reads the contents in its pages.

Oh My Kadavule starred Ashok Selvan and Ritika Singh in the lead roles, with Vani Bhojan and Vijay Sethupathi essaying pivotal roles. Ashwath Marimuthu, who directed the original, is helming the remake as well. In the original, the romantic fantasy features Vijay Sethupathi as god. In the Telugu version, Vishwak Sen and Mithila Palkar will play the leads, marking the latter's debut in Telugu. 

With music by Leon James, Tharun Bhascker has written the dialogues. Ori Devuda is produced by PVP Cinemas and Sri Venkateswara Creations.
