Kartikeya's new film titled Bedurulanka 2012

Bedurulanka 2012 is the title of actor Kartikeya's upcoming film, the makers announced on social media on Wednesday. The poster shows a bird eye view of an island covered by its lush greenery, as waves crash it from all the sides. An eagle is seen swooping over at one corner. Right in the middle of the poster, a line reads "The biggest hoax ever played".

Produced by Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni. the film is directed by Clax. The film is expected to be a dramedy and has some inspirations from the 1954 Japanese film Seven Samurai. Neha Sshetty plays the female lead. Others expected to be part of the film are Srikanth Iyengar, Ajay Ghosh, Goparaju Ramana, Jabardasth Ram Prasad, and Rajkumar Kasireddy.

The technical crew consists of Mani Sharma on the music and editing by Viplav Nyshadam. It will be shot by cinematographer Sunny Kurapati.
