Naane Varuvean, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Dhanush, will release in Telugu as Nene Vasthunna, with Geetha Arts presenting the film. 

The makers also confirmed that the film will release in theatres in September 2022. Directed by Selvaraghavan, Naane Varuvean also stars Elli Avrram, Indhuja, Yogi Babu, among others. 

The music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Recently the makers shared that the background score is currently going on. The first single from the film, Veera Soora, was also released, with the film's teaser to be unveiled on Thursday.

Naane Varuvaen is produced by V Creations and Dhanush, who is reported to play dual roles, appear in different looks. Om Prakash, who worked in Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam, is handling the cinematography while Maari fame Prasanna GK is handling the editing. The soundtrack, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, marks the return of the Dhanush-Yuvan-Selva combo after the chartbuster album for Pudhupettai in 2006.
