Director Trivikram Srinivas has begun shooting for SSMB 28. The film, starring Mahesh Babu in the lead role, will be produced by S Radha Krishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations.

The makers commenced the shoot with a high-voltage action sequence in a specially constructed set. This schedule is expected to continue for a month.

Mahesh will be sporting a new look in the film and the makers have teased the fans with a behind-the-scenes picture from the location.

SSMB 28 marks the third collaboration between Trivikram and Mahesh after Athadu and Khaleja.

Also starring Pooja Hegde, the film is expected to be wrapped up by February and will release in theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi on April 28, 2023.
