The makers of Naga Chaitanya's upcoming film, tentatively titled NC22, have announced the additional cast list. While there were speculations that the National Award-winning actor Priyamani is part of the project, the makers confirmed the same on Friday. Along with Priyamani, the film also stars Sampath Raj, Premgi Amaren, Vennala Kishore and TV actor Premi Viswanath. NC22, the bilingual film is directed by Venkat Prabhu and backed by Srinivasa Chitturi under the Srinivasa Silver Screen banner. Sampath and Premgi have earlier worked with Venkat Prabhu in films like Chennai 600028, Saroja and Goa.

While the film has Krithi Shetty playing the female lead, Ilaiyaraaja and Yuvan Shankar Raja are composing the music. The film marks the directorial debut of Venkat Prabhu in Telugu.
