We earlier reported that Varun Tej will be playing an Indian Air Force Officer in the upcoming action drama film. The recent report suggests that the actor is undergoing intense training for the character. 

Tentatively titled VT 13, sources close to the film unit revealed to IANS that Varun's character has many layers and is prepping to play the character with perfection. 

Produced by Sony Pictures International Productions in association with Renaissance Pictures, the film is directed by debutant Shakti Pratap Singh – a seasoned ad-film maker, cinematographer and VFX artist.
According to the makers, the action drama film celebrating India's Air Force will release in Telugu and Hindi in 2023.

Varun, who rose to fame with Kanche (2015), will be making his debut in the Hindi film industry with this feature. The film will showcase the indomitable spirits of our heroes on the frontlines and the challenges they face as they fight one of the biggest and fiercest aerial attacks that India has ever seen.
