Pushpa: The Rule to go on floors in Allu Studios in early October

Commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of late comedian and actor Allu Ramalingaiah, actor Chiranjeevi, on Saturday, launched Allu Studios in Hyderabad. Located at Narsingi, Kokapet, the studio is spread over 10 acres and has two floors reserved for shooting. "So far, only 30% of the work has been completed and the remaining works will be completed by the end of the year," says a source. 

Interestingly, Allu Arjun's much-awaited pan-India film Pushpa: The Rule will go on floors in the newly launched Allu Studios on Tuesday. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 is the sequel to the 2021 action thriller Pushpa: The Rise. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Sunil in prominent roles, with Allu Arjun playing the role of a sandalwood smuggling kingpin.

Recently, the makers have finalised the new look of the Race Gurram actor for the part. "Pushpa: The Rule will be the first film to be shot at Allu Studios and it's special because the film features Allu Ramalingaiah's grandson as the protagonist. The team is planning a two-week schedule and will be filming crucial scenes on Allu Arjun and others during this time," says a source close to the production.

Released on December 17 last year, Pushpa: The Rise, went on to become one of the highest grossing Telugu films. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and has music composed by by Devi Sri Prasad.
