Allu Arjun's Pushpa to release in Russia soon

Allu Arjun's Pushpa-The Rise became one of the industry hits during the pandemic and widened the market for pan-Indian content and films across the country. The film is now set to release in Russia, in its local language, the makers announced on Monday.

The film will release on December 8, after having premiere shows on December 1 and 3, in Moscow and St Petersburg, the makers revealed. The cast and crew are expected to be in attendance.

Directed by filmmaker Sukumar, Pushpa has been conceived as a two-part film. The first part was released in theatres in December 2021 to commercial success. The film follows the rise of an underdog in a smuggling syndicate of red sandalwood. 

The film stars Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Sunil among others. Also starring Fahadh Faasil in a pivotal role, the actor had a limited role in the first part, and is expected to have a major role to play in the second part, which is titled, Pushpa - The Rule
