Following the gargantuan success of RRR, anticipation about what SS Rajamouli is set to do next has reached a fever pitch. Busy with the promotions surrounding RRR's Oscar push, Rajamouli shared the barebones of the idea he has for his next with Superstar Mahesh Babu. 

In an interaction, Rajamouli shared that his father and noted screenwriter Vijayendra Prasad was in the process of scripting a film that would fulfill the former's long-standing dream. "I always wanted to do a globe-trotting film like Indiana Jones or the world of Dan Brown's books. My father is currently sketching a film on the adventurous thematic genre. We have not yet finalised the script, but the work is underway," said Rajamouli giving the earliest glimpse into his next big-budget film project.

Meanwhile. Rajamouli has also evinced interest in exploring a sequel to RRR, and teased a possibility for Baahubali 3 too.

On the other hand, Mahesh Babu is set to resume shooting for Trivikram Srinivas' next, which stars Pooja Hegde, and is backed by S Radha Krishna under Haarika & Haasine Creations.
