Tharun Bhascker's Keedaa Cola goes on floors

Keedaa Cola, the upcoming Telugu film directed by filmmaker Tharun Bhascker, has gone on floors, the makers informed on Friday.

The film will mark the third directorial venture of Tharun after Pelli Choopulu (2016) and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi (2018) besides helming a segment in Pitta Kathalu (2021).

The upcoming film is expected to be a crime comedy. According to the makers, the word Keedaa means a creature with six legs and Cola is the name of a popular soft-drink brand. Produced by VG Sainma, Keedaa Cola will mark the first production of this banner. Bharath Kumar, Sripad Nandiraj, Upendra Varma, Srinivas Kaushik, Saikrishna Gadwal and Vijay Kumar, serve as the producers. The film will be released in 2023.

Keedaa Cola will release in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada as well.The makers are yet to announce the cast and technical crew of the film.
