After a eight-year hiatus, actor Arjun Sarja is donning the director's hat. He will be directing a romantic action entertainer featuring Vishwak Sen in the lead role. What's more interesting is that the film will also bring together Arjun and his daughter Aishwarya, who plays the female lead opposite Vishwak. Interestingly, the film marks Aishwarya's entry into Telugu cinema. Grapevine is that the film will be made on a pan-India scale and will have prominent actors from south in crucial roles.

"Vishwak is impressed with the script of Arjun and is excited to collaborate with the actor-turned-director. The film is expected to go on floors in the second half of this year," says a source.

The untitled film will be bankrolled by a leading production house. Vishwak was last seen in Ashoka Vanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam. Directed by Viday Sagar Chinta, the film opened to positive reviews from critics and audience alike. In addition to this film, Vishwak will also be seen in Das Ka Dhumki, Ori Devuda, Mukhachitram and Student. He is also gearing up to direct the second installment of Falaknuma Das. Arjun, on the other hand, was last seen in Ravi Teja-starrer Khiladi.
