To mark the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri, the makers of Mahesh Babu's upcoming film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, have released a poster featuring the actor. 

In the poster, we can see Mahesh Babu punching the gut of a henchman who came to attack the star with a metallic rod. In a dustbowl of sorts, we also see the other sickle-wielding henchmen be witness to this power-packed punch.

Sharing this new poster, Mahesh Babu wrote, "Wishing you all a happy Maha Shivaratri! May the ever benevolent Lord Shiva bring strength and abundance! Let good conquer all evil!"

Directed by Parasuram of Geetha Govindam-fame, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, which has music composed by S Thaman, stars Keerthy Suresh opposite Mahesh Babu.

Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus, and GMB Entertainment, Sarkaru Vaari Paata is slated for a May 12 release.
