The makers of Happy Birthday, the upcoming film starring actor Lavanya Tripati in the lead role, have advanced the release date and is now arriving on July 8.
The film was initially scheduled to release on July 15. The preponement comes at the time when the Naga Chaitanya-starrer Thank You postponed the release date from July 8 to 22.
Helmed by Ritesh Rana in his sophomore directorial after Mathu Vadalara (2019), according to the note issued by the makers, the film takes place in a fantasy world and will have “coming-of-age content”.
Happy Birthday is produced by Chiranjeevi (Cherry) and Hemalatha Pedamallu of Clap Entertainment, with Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili of Mythri Movie Makers banner presenting it.
The upcoming film’s music is composed by Kaala Bhairava, while Suresh Sarangam has shot the film. Besides wielding the megaphone, Ritesh Rana has also penned the dialogues, story and screenplay. Srinivas and Shankar Uyyala, are the art director and stunt coordinator, respectively.
Besides Lavanya, Happy Birthday also features Naresh Agastya, Satya, Vennela Kishore, Gundu Sudarshan, and among others.
