Keedaa Cola is the title of the National Award-winning filmmaker Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam’s next film, the makers made the announcement on Thursday.
 
Produced by VG Sainma, Keedaa Cola will mark the first production of this banner. Bharath Kumar, Sripad Nandiraj, Upendra Varma, Srinivas Kaushik, Saikrishna Gadwal and Vijay Kumar, serve as the producers. The film will be released in 2023.

Billed as a crime comedy, the film’s screenplay is also penned by Tharun. According to the press release, the word Keedaa means a creature with six legs and Cola is the name of a popular soft-drink brand. The poster features a cap of a soft drink bottle with a title written on it. Indicating the crime part, we can spot the blood. 

It may be noted that Tharun’s debut film Pelli Choopulu (2016), starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma, won two National Awards: Best Telugu Film and Best Dialogues. He went on to direct Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi (2018) and a segment in Pitta Kathalu (2021).

The cast and technical crew of Keedaa Cola are yet to be announced.
