We had previously reported that Balakrishna's next with filmmaker Gopichand Malineni will feature Shruti Haasan as the female lead. It has now been announced that the Gabbar Singh-actor has joined the sets of the film.

The announcement was made by the filmmaker while sharing a picture with Shruti from the shooting spot. "Most talented and favourite ⁦Shruti Haasan⁩ on sets NBK107," he captioned the picture. The film marks the third collaboration between Gopichand and Shruti after the Balupu (2013) and Krack (2021), both of which featured Ravi Teja as the lead.

A teaser of NBK 107 was released recently and it seems to be yet another typical action entertainer. The film also stars Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Lal, and Duniya Vijay in prominent roles.

Thaman S will be scoring the music while Rishi Punjabi is handling the cinematography. Sai Madhav Burra and Navin Nooli will be taking care of dialogues and editing respectively. The film is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
