Putta Sai Ram, an ardent fan of actor Jr NTR died under mysterious circumstances on Friday night

The youngster, who hails from Pentapadu mandal of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, works in an IT firm in Hyderabad.

Sai Ram, on Friday, managed to get an entry pass to attend the pre-release event of Nandamuri Kalyan Ram-starrer Bimbisara for which Jr NTR attended as the chief guest.

While the police are yet to ascertain the cause for Sai Ram's death, speculations are rife that he died accidentally following a scuffle with his fellow fans.

In a statement, NTR Arts, the production house of Bimbisara mourned Sai Ram's death and wrote, "An unfortunate incident which has deeply saddened us has come to our notice. In what is a heartbreaking incident, Putta Sai Ram s/o Mr Rambabu, who attended the event last night is no more. Sai Ram has been an ardent fan from the Pentapadu mandal of West Godavari district."

Expressing the condolences, the production house has also ensured complete support to the bereaved family members.

"We express our deepest condolences to the family of Sai Ram and we would support them in any means possible," read a statement from NTR Arts and the team of Bimbisara.

Directed by debutant Vashishta (Venu) Mallidi, Bimbisara is slated to release in theatres on August 5. The film also features Catherine Tresa and Samyukta Menon as the female leads.
