Actor Adivi Sesh is set to join the shooting for next schedule of his upcoming film Hit: The Second Case from August, the actor announced on social media.

In a note shared by the actor, Adivi, who was last seen in Major, wrote, "Hi, all, first off, thank you for making Major an extraordinary success. It has been a truly incredible journey. I was supposed to come back to HIT 2 right after the release od Major and complete the last schedule of shoot. However, due to my unflinching commitment to taking Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's story to every nook and corner of the world, I am physically and emotionally exhausted (in a nice way)."

The film is produced by Prashanti Tipirneni in association with actor Nani. It is directed by Sailelsh Kolanu.

The actor also said that he had requested Nani and Sailesh for a break before he could come back and complete the final schedule for the shoot, for which they agreed. "We will update you very soon on the release of HIT2 with a bang. KD is coming fully loaded, ready to set the screens on fore. Thank you for understanding," the actor concluded.

 Hit: The Second Case is sequel to Hit: The First Case. The first part starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the lead roles, and depicted the story of a cop named Vikram Rudraraju, who suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and the pressures at work give him repeated panic attacks.

Hit: The Second Case is set in Andhra Pradesh and has Sesh playing Krishna Dev aka KD. The film was shot extensively in Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad. It has Meenakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead.
