Vijay Deverakonda's Liger trailer out

The pan-Indian film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on August 25

The trailer of the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer Liger  Saala Crossbreed, is out. The Telugu version of the trailer was launched by actors Chiranjeevi and Prabhas. While Dulquer Salmaan unveiled the Malayalam version, Ranveer Singh released the Hindi one.

The trailer takes us inside the world of Liger. It features glimpses of Vijay Deverakonda entering the ring, with Ramya Krishna’s voice briefing the reason behind naming his son Liger. “My son is a crossbreed, born to a lion and a tiger,” she says.

It’s the bumpy journey of a Chaiwala, with his efforts to represent India and win the MMA title, overcoming the obstacles like stammering.  In a scene where Mike Tyson is introduced, Liger says, “I’m a Fighter,” Tyson, in reply says, “If you’re a Fighter, what am I.”

In association with Puri connects, Liger is being produced jointly by Bollywood's leading production house Dharma Productions. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta are bankrolling the film on a grand scale.

Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film is mounted as an epic mass action entertainer. The pan-Indian film will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on August 25.

The film also features actors Ananya Pandey as the female lead, Ronit Roy as the coach, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey and Getup Srinu.
