Chiranjeevi to present Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha in Telugu

Actor Chiranjeevi is set to present Aamir Khan’s upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha in Telugu, the former announced on social media on Saturday, while expressing his elation over the association with the Hindi actor.

The movie is an official adaptation of Tom Hanks’s 1994 film Forrest Gump.

Feel very privileged to present the Telugu version of my dear friend #AamirKhan ‘s wonderful emotional roller coaster #LaalSinghChaddha Our Telugu audiences are surely going to love him!” Chiranjeevi wrote on Twitter.

Chiranjeevi also shared a clip from a private screening of the film, which was attended by the actor, Aamir, filmmaker SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya (who is also part of the film). “Fascinating how a chance meeting & a little chat with my dear friend #AamirKhan @Kyoto airport - Japan, few years ago led to me becoming a part of his dream project #LaalSinghChaddha Thank You #AamirKhan for the exclusive preview at my home. Heartened by your warm warm gesture! Most of all, what a Gem of a film you have made!! Such a wonderful emotional journey!” Chiranjeevi tweeted in excitement.

Laal Singh Chaddha is set to hit the big screens on August 11. The film, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya.
