We had previously reported that Anupama Parameswaran will be headlining a Telugu film titled Butterfly. Reports now suggest that the film will be skipping theatres to release directly on a streaming platform instead. According to reports, the film is expected to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar. An official announcement on behalf of the makers is awaited. 

Written and directed by Ghanta Satish Babu, the film features Bhoomika Chawla and Nihal Kodhaty in prominent roles. Bankrolled by Ravi Prakash Babu Bodapati, Prasad Tiruvalluri, and Pradeep Nallimelli, the film has music by Arviz and Gideon Katta.

In addition to Butterfly, Anupama has 18 Pages and Karthikeya 2, both co-starring Nikhil, coming up in her slate of releases. Earlier this year, she was seen in Rowdy Boys and more recently in Ante Sundaraniki, in which she played a cameo.
