Chiranjeevi tests positive for Covid-19

The Acharya actor has mild symptoms and is now under home quarantine

Actor Chiranjeevi, on Wednesday morning, announced on his social media handles that he has tested positive for Covid-19. The 66-year-old actor revealed that he has mild symptoms and is now under home quarantine. 

"Dear All, Despite all precautions, I have tested Covid 19 Positive with mild symptoms last night and am quarantining at home," wrote Chiranjeevi on Twitter. 

Further, he has also requested everyone who came in contact with him in the last few days to get tested.

"I request all who came in contact with me over the last few days to get tested too," he added.

Since the news is out, Chiranjeevi's fans and celebrities are flooding his timeline with  recovery wishes.

On the career front, Chiranjeevi is working in a bevy of films, including Acharya, Bholaa Shankar, Godfather and Waltair Veerayya. He is also committed to working with director Venky Kudumula in a new film that is expected to go on floors in the second half of this year.
