After her last Tamil film, Paramapadham Vilayattu, opting for an OTT release, Trisha is gearing up for her OTT debut with a Telugu series titled Brinda. Touted to be a crime investigation drama, the web series was formally launched on Dusshera last year.

It's now known that the actor will be playing the role of a cop. A still from the film set was shared by Trisha via her Twitter handle that has her dressed in khaki and playing with a couple of dogs. While Trisha has previously starred in many hit cop films like Saamy and Yennai Arindhaal, this is the first time she's donning the role of a cop.

Trisha, who recently recovered from a Covid 19 infection, is currently shooting for Brinda in Hyderabad. Said to be made for SonyLIV, the rest of the case includes actors like Sai Kumar, Amani and Indrajith Sukumaran. Brinda is directed by newcomer Surya Vangala while Shakti Kanth Karthick and Dinesh K Babu are handling music and cinematography respectively.

Meanwhile, apart from the long-delayed films like Sathuranga Vettai 2, Raangi, and Garjanai which are ready to release, Trisha is also a part of Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan which is slated to hit theatres later this year.
