We had previously reported that Telugu star Jr NTR will be reuniting with Koratala Siva for his next, tentatively titled NTR 30. The film marks their second collaboration after the blockbuster 2016 film, Janatha Garage. Speculations are now rife that Alia Bhatt has been cast as the film's leading lady, while Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring the music for the film. Incidentally, Anirudh was supposed to compose the soundtrack for NTR's 2018 film, Aravindha Sametha Veera Raghava, before he was replaced by Thaman. 

Likewise, Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt have shared screen space earlier in SS Rajamouli's RRR, in which she is paired opposite Ram Charan. However, an official confirmation pertaining to the involvement of both Alia and Anirudh is currently awaited.

Jr NTR, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of his long-awaited action speculate, RRR, which has beheld another setback in the form of the Covid-19 resurgence across the nation, causing the makers to postpone the film from its January 7 release date. The makers are yet to announce a revised release date.
