Actor Mahesh Babu's next film to be helmed by director Trivikram Srinivas has been launched in Hyderabad on Thursday, February 3. The film has been tentatively titled SSMB28. The news has been updated by the official Twitter handle of the filmmakers Haarika & Hassine Creations. 

The ceremony to kickstart the film was held in the presence of Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar, director Trivikram, female lead Pooja Hegde, music composer of the film, Thaman, Naga Vamsi among others.

Pictures from the ceremony were also shared on social media handles and within minutes, #SSMB28 began trending. 

It was also revealed that the "Regular shoot starts this April 2022!" SSMB28 will be Mahesh Babu and Trivikram's third movie together after Athadu and Khaleja. The lead actors have also worked together in Maharshi.
