Only on Friday, the makers gave us an update on Nani’s upcoming 30th film and said that the announcement on the same will be made on January 1. While we wait for the same, speculations are rife that Mrunal Thakur will be cast opposite actor in the film.
According to reports, Mrunal, who made her debut in Telugu with Sita Ramam, has been roped in as the female lead in Nani 30. If it is true, this marks the first time the actors are collaborating for a film. Reports also suggest that the upcoming film will be a romantic entertainer and will go on floors from early next year. However, it is to be noted that Mrunal played the female lead in the Shahid Kapoor-starrer Hindi remake of Telugu film Jersey which had Nani in the lead role.
Nani 30 is backed by Vyra Entertainments. The project marks the production house's first film.
Meanwhile, Nani is currently shooting for Dasara, co-starring Keerthy Suresh. On the other hand Mrunal has Pippa, Gumraah, in the making.
