Adivi Sesh's Goodachari sequel to be launched on this date

The film will be the directorial debut of  Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi

While Adivi Sesh had announced that this hit 2018 spy thriller, Goodachaari will be getting a sequel, the film is finally set to take off now. The makers of the film announced on Thursday that the sequel, titled G2, will be officially launched on January 9, 2023, in Delhi and Mumbai. A 'pre-vision' video will also be unveiled on the same day.

A teaser poster featuring the protagonist holding a machine gun was also released.

While Sashi Kiran Tikka directed the original, Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi, the editor of Major, will be making his directorial debut with G2. The story of G2 is by Sesh, while People Media Factory, Abhishek Agarwal Arts and AK Entertainments India Pvt Ltd will be bankrolling the film.

The makers stated that the film will be produced on a 'lavish' scale and will have a pan-India release. Further details related to the project are expected to be out on January 9.
