Sivakarthikeyan to collaborate with director Harish Shankar?

Actor Sivakarthikeyan, who has predominantly done films in Tamil, is venturing into the Telugu market as well. With his last film, Prince, having a Telugu release, and upcoming film Maaveeran also planned to be made in Telugu language as well, the actor is seen expanding his market. Adding to this, it is speculated that Sivakarthikeyan will join hands with director Harish Shankar for a film that will be backed by Dil Raju.

However no official announcement has been made so far about the project. It is also not known if the project will be a bilingual. Harish Shankar has made films like Gabbar Singh, Shock, to name a few.

Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on Maaveeran, which is directed by Mandela-fame Madonne Ashwin. The film will release in Telugu as Mahaveerudu and has Aditi Shankar play the female lead. Sivakarthikeyan will also appear in a film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, produced by Kamal Haasan.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, Harish Shankar will collaborate with Pawan Kalyan for a film titled Ustaad Bhagat Singh. However it is not known if the film will take place after the speculated Sivakarthikeyan project or before that.
