We had previously reported that Naveen Polishetty will be acting alongside Anushka Shetty in an upcoming film. The makers unveiled the first look of the actor from the film on Monday, on the occasion of his birthday.

From the first look, it is evident that Naveen plays a stand-up comedian in the film and his character is named Sidhu Polishetty. While sharing the image on his social media profiles, Naveen wrote, "Get ready for the laughs. Introducing my next role. Stand-up comedian ‘Sidhu Polishetty’. Thank you so much for the wishes. Shoot happening in full swing. Can’t wait for you guys to watch this film in the new year. We are coming to you very soon [SIC]."
 

The film, directed by Mahesh Babu P, has music by Radhan and cinematography by Nirav Shah. Expected to be a romantic comedy, the film is being produced by UV Creations.

In addition to this film, Naveen has a comedy film titled Anaganaga Oka Raju coming up.
