The makers of Dhamaka, starring Ravi Teja in the lead role, have revealed the box office numbers made by the film during its opening weekend. The action comedy, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, grossed 32 crores in the first three days.

The makers also added that collections on day two grew 25% over the first day, with the third day seeing the highest turnout of footfalls. The film benefitted majorly from the Christmas holidays. The makers added that the film collected $200k outside of the US.

Ravi Teja's previous two releases, Khiladi and Rama Rao on Duty put up a poor show at the box office. Dhamaka's trend, however, is on the healthier side.

The film features Sreeleela, Rao Ramesh, and Jayaram in prominent roles. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad through People Media Factory, the film has music by Bheems Ceciroleo and cinematography by Kartik Gattamneni.

Ravi Teja will next seen in Sudheer Varma's Ravanasura. He also has Tiger Nageswara Rao and a film under the direction of Kartik Gattamneni coming up.
