Bobby Deol on board Pawan Kalyan's Hari Hara Veera Mallu

The film marks Bobby's Telugu debut

The makers of the Pawan Kalyan-starrer, Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM) have announced on Saturday that Hindi actor Bobby Deol has been added to the cast of the period action entertainer. The film marks Bobby's debut in Telugu cinema. The announcement was made along with a special video featuring Bobby.

Bobby will be essaying the role of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the film and has begun filming his portions in Hyderabad. The makers also shared that a 'massive darbar' set, designed by Thota Tharani, has been constructed for the film. 

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, The film reportedly tells the story of a Robin Hood who is on a mission to steal a Kohinoor-like diamond from the Mughals. HHVM's previously announced cast members include Nidhhi Agerwal, Nargis Fakhri, Aditya Menon and Poojitha Ponnada.


The makers had recently announced that they have wrapped up filming the action sequences, with the next schedule of the film set to commence early next year.

Presented by AM Rathnam, HHVM is produced by A Dayakar Rao. MM Keeravani is composing the music while cinematography is by Gnanashekar VS and dialogues are penned by Sai Madhav Burra. The makers are yet to lock in the release date of the film.

Bobby, on the other hand, was last seen in Love Hostel and has Shlok The Desi Sherlock coming up.
