Mahesh Babu to resume shooting for SSMB28 from January

Actor Mahesh Babu, who currently paused shooting after the recent demise of his father Krishna, will resume shooting for his upcoming tentatively titled film SSMB28 from January, the makers confirmed, on social media on Saturday, while sharing a few photos of the film team.

The film is directed by Trivikram Srinivas, and backed by S Radhakrishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations banner. The production works also happen in a fast pace, informed by the makers. The upcoming film will mark the third collaboration of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas after Athadu and Khaleja.

Featuing Pooja Hegde as the female lead, the upcoming film is billed to an action entertainer with family elements. Trivikram also wrote the script and it is said that Mahesh Babu will sport a “rugged avatar with long hair and a beard”.

SSMB28 will be edited by national award-winning technician Navin Nooli, while the team also comprises art director AS Prakash, music director S Thaman and cinematographer PS Vinod.
