Nandamuri Balakrishna's NBK108 launched with pooja ceremony

Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming film, tentatively titled NBK108, was launched through a pooja ceremony on Thursday.

For the muhurtham shot, producer Allu Aravind sounded the clapboard while producer Dil Raju switched on the camera and Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao did the honorary direction. Mythri Movie Makers' Naveen Yerneni, Kilaru Satish, and Sirish handed the script to the makers.

The film's shooting also began on Thursday with an action sequence choreographed by V Venkat. The set was constructed under the supervision of production designer Rajeevan. 

Written and directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the Shine Screens banner.

Billed as an action entertainer, Balakrishna is said to sport different looks for the film. NBK108 also stars Sreeleela in a pivotal role. The film's technical crew includes music composer Thaman, cinematographer C Ram Prasad, and editor Tammi Raju.

Balakrishna, last seen in Akhanda, directed by Boyapatti Srinu. His upcoming films include Veera Simha Reddy and Rama Rao Garu. On the other hand, Anil made his debut with Pataas (2005). He last directed a comedy film, F3: Fun and Frustration (2022).
